Due to the upcoming winter storm warning, network servers will be proactively shut down tomorrow, January 24th at 6:00 PM EST. This measure is being taken to protect server hardware and data from potential power surges or power spikes caused by severe weather conditions.
While servers are offline, the following services will be unavailable:
Network authentication
On-site and remote printing
The following services will remain available and are not affected by this shutdown:
On-campus phone systems
Google services, including email, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and related tools
Once the storm has passed and conditions are confirmed to be clear, servers will be powered back on. A follow-up email will be sent when all systems are restored.
